*CULTURE 2024: LAND SERVICE*
The Land Service members attended the annual Regional Camp at Kwalata Adventure Camp located in Hammanskraal on the 17th of April. The Land Service learners thoroughly enjoyed their weekend and also learned a lot of new things. The members also had the opportunity to go on game drives, go on eco trail hikes and also learn about some of the tree and bird species that can be found in the Bushveld. Learners also learned about different snake species and had the opportunity to touch PopEye, the camp's very own python. The members also needed to "run" their very own "restaurant" with a potjiekos competition as the main course. The Land Service also met members from other schools and had to work together in groups with the different members of individual schools.
